Harding Hosts Senior Camp

SEARCY - Harding University football hosted its inaugural Senior Camp on June 21 at First Security Stadium.  Head coach Ronnie Huckeba said he felt the camp was a great success, and believes more will follow in years to come.

SEARCY – Sophomore Ethan Thies received his official release from Army and signed a Grant-In-Aid to play for Harding in the fall. Thies, a 6-foot-6, 305-pound offensive lineman, played high school football at Washington Township, N.J.

Sophomore Katy Grant qualified for outdoor nationals for the first time
SEARCY -- Sophomore Katy Grant was named to the ESPN the Magazine Track and Field/Cross Country Academic All-American third team on Wednesday. Grant, a social work major and Spanish minor, posted a 4.0 GPA while also qualifying for nationals in outdoor track and cross country.

Hall, Washburn Named to GSC Top Ten

Birmingham, Ala. — Basketball forward Matt Hall and Kendyl Washburn, a forward for the women’s soccer team, were among nine athletes to be named to the 11th annual Gulf South Conference Top Ten Award list. The top male and female receive the Commissioner's Trophy, the conference's most prestigious honor.
