Daniels is in his second season with the New York Giants.

SEARCY - Former Harding University linebacker and Super Bowl champion Tank Daniels played in the New York Giants second preseason game Monday. Daniels had one defensive tackle and one special-teams tackle in the Giants' 37-34 victory over the Cleveland Browns.

Jess Bucy to be Inducted into Rector High School Hall of Fame

Jess Bucy
Bucy was inducted into the Harding Athletics Hall of Fame in 2006.
Jess Bucy, a 1948 Rector High School graduate, athlete, high school coach and superintendent has been selected by the RHSSHOF Inc. Selection Committee, as its first honoree for the Rector High School Sports Hall of Fame.
 
Bucy spent 15 years as a coach and administrator at Rector High School and 21 years as Harding University’s head basketball coach.

David Knighton
David Knighton begins his fourth season as Harding's starting quarterback.
SEARCY – There is not much to say about David Knighton that has not already been said. The starting quarterback from Seminole, Okla., enters his senior season with 27 school records under his belt, and in 2008, he will take aim at the Gulf South Conference record book.
Last season, Knighton passed for 3,198 yards and 32 touchdowns, earned GSC Offensive Player of the Year and Associated Press Little All-America and placed seventh in the Harlon Hill Award voting.

Tim Perry
Tim Perry is in his first season as Harding's offensive coordinator.
SEARCY – The Harding football team held its second practice of the preseason Tuesday at First Security Stadium. Helping lead that practice were three full-time coaches new to the Harding football program this season, though all played collegiately for the Bisons. Tim Perry is the new offensive coordinator, Lee Edwards coaches the defensive backs and Gray Yates directs the quarterbacks. Harding head coach Ronnie Huckeba said that the transition has been very smooth.
