SEARCY – Harding women's tennis dropped its final home match of the 2013 season Friday with a 6-3 loss to East Central in Great American Conference play.

Harding fell to 11-8 overall and 2-3 in the GAC. The Lady Bisons play their final match of the regular season Monday against Southeastern Oklahoma in Durant.

Harding won one of the three doubles matches. Katie Huff and Maria Moreno won 8-4 at No. 3 doubles over Berny Muscillo and Agostino Moran.

The Lady Bisons' singles victories came from Chelsea Lanier, who won 6-2, 6-2 over Eli Dignard at No. 3, and from Kaleigh Wagner, who won 6-3, 6-1 over Moran at No. 6.

It was the final home match for head coach David Elliott, who announced his retirement Thursday. Elliott has coached the Lady Bisons since the program began in 1991.
