Kaya Lee and Zoey Neal Named NFCA All-Central Region

SEARCY – Harding softball players Kaya Lee and Zoey Neal were both named Fast Pitch Coaches Association All-Central Region in a release by the organization on Thursday. Both were named to the second team and it was both player's first all-region nod.

The two players become the eighth and ninth players in Harding history to be named to the team. It is the first time since 2021 the Lady Bisons have had multiple players on the team.

Kaya Lee, a senior from Frisco, Texas, leads the GAC with a .432 batting average. She also leads the GAC with 80 hits. Kaya has recorded 27 multiple hit games this season. She has also stolen 32 bases this season.

Zoey Neal, a junior from Dyer, Tennessee, has driven in 62 runners this season which leads the GAC and ranks 10th in NCAA Division II. Neal has recorded 17 multiple RBI games this season. She needs one more RBI to break the Harding record for the most in a season. Neal also leads the team in home runs with eight.

The Lady Bisons will be back in action Thursday when they participate in the NCAA Central Regional Tournament. Harding will be the No. 7 seed and will face host team and No. 2 seed Southern Arkansas Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
