Reporting Time: Football First, More to Follow

Harding expects around 130 football players to report Wednesday

SEARCY – The activity level in the Ganus Athletic Center will be at a fever pitch Wednesday as student-athletes begin reporting for their fall seasons.

The Harding football team expects more than 130 players in camp as the squad reports Wednesday. The team will go through physicals Wednesday night before holding its first team meetings. Thursday the team will test in the weight room in the morning and hold conditioning exercises in the evening. The first of the team's preseason practices will be Friday morning at First Security Stadium.

Harding's soccer and volleyball teams report next Tuesday with practices beginning Wednesday. The cross country squads report the first day of school, Aug. 23.

The fall sports season opens Sept. 2 with the men's soccer team on the road at Missouri S&T. The volleyball squad begins its season with four matches at the Texas Woman's Tournament in Denton on Sept. 3-4, and the Bison football team opens at home on Sept. 4 against Southern Arkansas.

Harding's cross country teams run their season-openers at Missouri Southern on Sept. 18.
