AT HARDING
Dustin Howell enters his 15th season as head coach of the Harding men's golf program, and 2022-23 will mark his eighth season as head coach of the women's golf program.

Howell's men's squads have won nine team championships during his tenure, most recently, the 2022 Tunica Cup. Harding's women have won three times in Howell's tenure, most recently the 2020 Natural State Golf Classic.

During his time as men's coach, Howell has had 14 golfers earn All-GAC and 20 earn Academic All-GAC. Howell has coached CoSIDA Academic All-District honorees Brandon Clark (2013), Juan Luis Sanchez (2018) and Sam Tandy (2022). In 2022, Tandy became Harding's 12th Srixon/Cleveland GCAA All-America Scholar. Howell's Bisons have received the GCAA All-Academic Team award in each of the last seven seasons. Under Howell, Harding has had four GAC Distinguished Scholar Athletes and one GAC Elite Scholar Athlete.

Howell's Lady Bisons have had five players receive the GAC Elite Scholar Award and five named GAC Distinguished Scholars. In 2019, Brooklyn Terry became Harding's second CoSIDA Academic All-American and first since 2008. Twenty-six Harding women have earned Academic All-GAC honors through 2021 and 15 have earned WGCA Division II All-America Scholar honors. 

EDUCATION
Howell, a native of Searcy, Arkansas, earned his bachelor's degree in healthcare management from Harding in 2000 and his MBA in 2007. He has worked in Harding's financial aid office since 2003 and moved to the Office of Institutional Research in 2012.

FAMILY
Howell and his wife Ginger have four children -- Hannah, Emme, Jack and Avalynne.
