AT HARDING
Meredith Fear has been Harding's head volleyball coach since 2012 and is Harding's senior woman administrator. She has a 263-95 record in her first 12 seasons at Harding and a 299-127 record in 14 seasons as a collegiate head coach. Her teams have won 20 or more matches in nine of her 12 full seasons, including a career-high 30 wins in 2022. Fear has three GAC Coach of the Year awards.

In her time at Harding, Fear has coached three All-Americans, including two-time GAC Players of the Year Mollie Arnold and Zoe Hardin and 2021 Spring GAC Player of the Year Logan Smith. Her players have received six All-Region and 49 All-GAC honors. Fear has coached Academic All-Americans Lisa Copeland (2013) and Kelli McKinnon (2022).

In Fear's 12 seasons, she has led Harding to seven GAC regular season championships, one second-place finish and three GAC Tournament championships. Her teams are 148-32 in GAC matches.

BEFORE HARDING
Fear returned to the Lady Bisons after spending two seasons as the head coach at York College in Nebraska. At York, she took over a team who won six matches in 2009 and led them to 14 victories in 2010 and to 22 victories and an NCCAA Regional Tournament appearance in 2011.

PLAYING CAREER
Fear, who played for Harding as the libero from 2004-07, earned multiple All-Gulf South Conference honors and was named Daktronics All-South Region and Academic All-GSC as a senior. A two-year captain, she is Harding's career leader in digs per set (5.02) and ranks second with 2,333 career digs and fourth with 121 service aces.

EDUCATION
Fear graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in communications management and a minor in missions from Harding in 2008. Additionally, she earned her Master of Business Administration from the university in 2010, serving as the team's graduate assistant during that time.

FAMILY
Fear, a native of Avon, Indiana, is married to Robert Fear, a 2008 Harding graduate. They have two children -- Isaiah and Micah Anne.
