HUNTSVILLE, ALA. – Harding scored only three points in the first eight minutes of the second half and fell 64-52 to Alabama-Huntsville, Monday in non-conference men’s basketball action at Spragins Hall.
Harding (1-1) played its first game without Matt Hall, last season’s Gulf South Conference West Division Player of the Year. Hall injured his knee in the Bisons opener and is likely out for the season.

Junior forward Patrick Andrepont was the only Harding player in double figures with 20 points. He shot 8-of-14 from the field and tied for the team lead with nine rebounds. Junior Cole Kee earned his first career start in place of Hall and scored six points.
Daniel Easterly led Alabama-Huntsville with 16 points, and junior guard Jason Smith added 15. UAH shot 46% from the field in the game and limited Harding to 40%.
Harding, which tied a school record with 17 three-pointers in its opener with Missouri-Rolla, made 7-of-21 three-pointers Monday. The Bisons again struggled from the foul line, hitting only 3-of-8.
Harding continues its Alabama road trip Wednesday when it takes only North Alabama at 2 p.m. in Florence.
