Box Score SEARCY – Despite having only one fewer shot than Alabama-Huntsville, the Harding men’s soccer team fell 7-1 to the Chargers on Sunday in Gulf South Conference action.
Harding (0-10-0, 0-4-0) got off 26 shots, led by Brady Wallace with five, but only found the net once. Junior forward Brock Williams scored his team-leading sixth goal of the season in the 44th minute, trimming UAH’s lead to 3-1 just before halftime. Chase Fowler had the assist, his team-leading second in ’06.
The Chargers (3-5-2, 2-0-0) scored four more in the second half, including two by Duncan Kane.
Harding steps out of conference play for its next three games, beginning Saturday against Belhaven College.
