Lady Bisons Sweep Arkansas Tech

SEARCY, Ark. – The Lady Bisons finished their home matches this season with a 3-0 victory over Arkansas Tech. It was Harding’s 10th three-game conference win this season that improved the Lady Bisons to 21-8 overall and 11-0 in the Gulf South Conference. Arkansas Tech fell to 18-16 and 4-7 in conference play.
 
The Lady Bisons took a good lead in game one and two with game scores of 30-12 and 30-16 but the Golden Suns tied game three at 26 before relinquishing it 30-26.
 
Junior Katelin Parks led the Lady Bisosn with 17 kills and a .419 hitting percentage. Freshman Manuela Nesheva followed her with 10 kills. Harding accrued 49 kills, 45 assists and 54 digs. The Lady Bisons hit over .300 for the ninth time this season. Both teams totaled nine blocks. Harding senior Tiffany Morrison was in on six of those blocks including two solos.
 
The Golden Suns added up only 29 kills and hit .008 for the match. They had 27 assists and 38 digs. Dana Florian led Arkansas Tech with nine kills and four blocks.
 
The Lady Bisons will be in Arkadelphia for their last regular season match on Thurs., Oct. 26 at 7:00 p.m. against Ouachita Baptist.
