PENSACOLA, FLA. - Ouachita Baptist senior Rachel Folk scored a penalty kick goal with less than a minute remaining in the first half to lift the Tigers to a 1-0 victory over the Harding Lady Bisons in the semifinals of the Gulf South Conference Women's Soccer Tournament on Friday.

The loss ends Harding's season with an 8-5-3 overall record. Ouachita Baptist (12-4-0) defeated Harding in each of the Lady Bisons' last two games of the season. The Tigers advance to Sunday's final to take on No. 1 seed West Florida, a 5-0 winner over West Georgia on Friday.

After halftime, the Lady Bisons came out firing in the second half. Harding had 10 shots and held Ouachita Baptist without a single attempt. The Tigers held on behind the solid eight-save effort of freshman goalkeeper Taylor Culberson.

Harding was making its third appearance in the last four years in the GSC Tournament. It was the first ever appearance for Ouachita Baptist.

The contest marked the final appearance for five Lady Bison seniors--Emily Currie, Laura Bullington, Sarah Williamson, Carrie Piscelli, and Leslie Pierce.
