SEARCY, Ark. – Lady Bison Katelin Parks notched her fourth double-double in five matches with 21 kills and 10 digs in Harding’s victory over Christian Brothers Thursday night. The Lady Bisons extended their winning streak to four matches with the 3-0 triumph and improved to 16-4 this season and 7-0 in conference play. The Lady Bucs fell to 13-10 and 2-5. Game scores for the match were 30-14, 30-24, and 31-29.
The Lady Bisons had only one hitting error in the first game an ended with only eleven for the match for a .385 attack percentage. They totaled 51 kills and 42 digs. For the eighth time this season, Harding out-blocked its opponent with eight blocks to CBU’s five. HU also collected 48 digs while the Lady Bucs had only 33.
Parks’ 21 kills ranks second in Harding’s game records for kills in a three-game match. Tiffany Morrison added 11 kills for the Lady Bisons and Leah Tepe had 40 assists and Meredith Rosenbaum led the team with 13 digs.
Christian Brothers was led by Laura Washington with 13 kills and Krista Gyarmati with 11 digs.
Harding is set to face nationally-ranked North Alabama Saturday morning (Oct. 7) at 11:00 a.m. in the Rhodes Field House. UNA leads the East division of the GSC with a 7-0 conference record.
