SEARCY—The Harding Bison soccer team came back to tie the game, but could not finish as the Belhaven Blazers scored late in the game to win 2-1 at First Security Stadium on Saturday night.
Belhaven improved to 7-4-1 with the win, while Harding fell to 0-11-0 on the year.
Dantala Wright netted the first goal of the game in a scramble in the penalty box to give Belhaven a 1-0 lead through halftime. Harding tied the game 1-1 midway through the second half when Colby Wilson scored his first goal of the season on a cross from Jedda Bragg and Joseph Ireland.
Wright nailed his second goal of the game with 18 minutes remaining in the second half to put the Blazers ahead for good at 2-1.
