SEARCY—Catherine McMenamy scored 21 points and Kinsey Tucker added 18 as the Harding Lady Bisons defeated the York Panthers 92-61, at the Rhodes Field House Friday night.
Harding improved to 4-1 and York fell to 3-5 overall. Friday’s game marked the first meeting between the two schools.

The record of 14 was accomplished most recently last season against Lincoln. McMenamy connected on five 3-pointers, and Kelsea Lyda scored four threes. York could not keep pace with Harding’s long shots, however, hitting just 1 for 11 shots from three-point range.

Kaitlin May dished out 11 assists in the game, the most since Laura Broadwater completed the feat last season against Central Baptist.
Ashley Wellman led York with 15 points, and Lauren Arita scored 12 points. While the threes were not falling for York, the Panthers outscored Harding 34-30 in the paint.
The Lady Bisons will play Saturday, Dec. 2 against Alabama-Huntsville at 5:30 p.m. to finish out the Lady Bison Classic.
