ARKADELPHIA, ARK. – The Lady Bison tennis team improved its record to 4-2 Saturday with a 6-3 victory over Southwest Baptist, the sixth-ranked team in the NCAA II North Central Region. The teams played the match indoors at the Heflin Tennis Center.

 

Harding collected wins at #1 and #2 singles and won the top four singles matches. The Lady Bisons’ #1 singles player Alicia Williams easily defeated Iveta Wolfgram, the third-ranked singles player in the North Central Region. HU sophomore Karina Gomes defeated Chelsea Janzen, 12^th-ranked in the North Central Region, at #2 singles.

 

The Lady Bisons continue their season Tuesday against Christian Brothers in Memphis.
