MAGNOLIA, ARK. – The Harding women’s tennis team won its third straight match and notched its second straight 9-0 shutout with a victory over Southern Arkansas on Thursday. The Lady Bisons lost only five games in the match, dropping only two games in singles. Harding is now 15-0 all-time against SAU in women’s tennis.

 

Harding (6-2) cruised through the three doubles matches. Alicia Williams and Milena Chisaca improved to 4-2 as the Lady Bisons #1 duo. Catrina Kelly and Linnea Jordan made their 2006 debut as a doubles team at #3 and also won in a shutout.

 

Chisaca, Karina Gomes, and Catherine Carui each won their third straight singles match.

 

Harding is scheduled to meet NCAA I opponent Arkansas-Pine Bluff in Searcy on Friday.
