Box Score DENTON, TEXAS - The Harding women's soccer team notched its third tie in its first six games, drawing 2-2 at Texas Woman's University on Friday.
Harding (1-2-3) has never had more than one tie in a single season. Texas Woman's moved to 2-4-2 overall.
Junior midfielder Lyndsey Clissold collected her first goal of the season in the 21st minute to give the Lady Bisons a 1-0 lead at halftime.
Texas Woman's opened the second half with back-to-back scores that came within three minutes of each other. Emily Meinen scored in the 50th minute and Romy Luna gave the Pioneers a 2-1 lead in the 52nd minute.

Kellie DeAtley scored her first career goal in her Bison debut. Her score off a deflection came in the 57th minute.
The teams played two scoreless 10-minute overtime periods. In the first overtime, Texas Woman's out-shot Harding 10-1. The tables turned in the second overtime as Harding held a 3-0 shot advantage.
In the game, Texas Woman's fired 33 shots to Harding's 24, but the Lady Bisons placed 18 shots on goal to only 10 by the Pioneers. TWU goalkeeper Aly Vincent had 16 saves. Harding freshman

Harding returns to action Friday against Montevallo to begin Gulf South Conference play. The game is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m.
