SEARCY, Ark. – The Lady Bisons had no trouble defeating the Alabama-Huntsville Lady Chargers on Friday night at the Rhodes Field House. Harding won the match 3-0 with scores of 30-18, 30-17, and 30-22. The non-conference win brings the Lady Bisons to 15-7 overall while the Lady Chargers dropped to 7-18.

Harding senior Katelin Parks led the match with 15 kills and helped the Lady Bisons hit .327 for the match. Teammate Shellie Rummer added nine kills and hit .462 on the night. Leah Tepe had 40 assists and Meredith Rosenbaum had a team-high 17 digs. The Lady Bisons had nine service aces against UAH, three of which were by Katie Copeland.

Kelly Ingram managed a team-high 10 kills for the Lady Chargers and Whitney Corder added 10 digs. UAH had a .075 attack percentage and 35 kills. Both teams had five blocks.

The Lady Bisons will take the court again tomorrow against Puerto Rico-Rio Piedras at 3 p.m. in the Rhodes Field House.
