BATESVILLE, Ark. – The Lady Bison volleyball team defeated the Lyon Pipers on Tues. night in three games. Game scores were 30-22, 30-19, and 30-23, lifting the Lady Bisons to 10-3 overall. The Pipers dropped to 3-4 on the season. Harding sophomore Manuela Nesheva kept up her trend with 20 kills and a .472 hitting percentage.

Harding's Shellie Rummer followed Nesheva with 12 kills while Meredith Rosenbaum and Katelin Parks had double-digit digs. Ashley Daniel led the Pipers with 10 kills and added eight digs.

Harding hit .268 for the match while Lyon barely broke .100 with 34 kills and 22 errors in 115 attacks. Both teams totaled six blocks.

The Lady Bisons travel to Florence, Ala., this weekend for the North Alabama Crossover Tournament. Harding plays Nova Southeastern on Fri., Sept. 14 and Barry and North Alabama on Sat., Sept. 15.
