Volleyball Hosts Ouachita Baptist Tonight

SEARCY- The Harding volleyball team looks to rebound back after a disappointing Gulf South Conference loss to Henderson State last week as they host Ouachita Baptist on Tuesday in GSC action at 7 p.m., in the Rhodes Field House. Harding heads into the match with a 17-3 overall record and a 4-1 record in the GSC West Division.

The Lady Bisons have the series lead over the Lady Tigers (6-13, 0-4 GSCW), 43-21. Last season, Harding swept Ouachita Baptist in both conference meetings, 3-0.

The Lady Bisons are led by senior outside hitter Manuela Nesheva who averages 4.45 kills per set, ranking her second in the GSC in sixth in NCAA Division II. Nesheva also averages 2.49 digs per set. The Harding defense is led by junior Emily Tate who averages 4.63 digs per set, ranking her second in the GSC.

Ouachita Baptist is led by Megan Askew who averages 2.44 kills per set. The Lady Tiger defense is led by Raichel Settle who averages 4.25 digs per set, ranking her third in the GSC.

OBU leads the GSC in digs averaging 17.48 per set, Harding ranks second.
