Volleyball Travels to Christian Brothers Tuesday

SEARCY – The Harding volleyball team hits the road Tuesday, heading to Memphis, Tenn., to face Christian Brothers in Gulf South Conference action. Harding heads into the match with a 23-6 overall record and is 7-1 in the GSC West Division.

Harding leads the series against Christian Brothers, 38-13. The Lady Bisons defeated the Lady Bucs 3-0 earlier this season in Searcy.

Senior outside hitter Manuela Nesheva leads the Lady Bisons averaging 4.25 kills per set, ranking second in the GSC and fifth in the NCAA Division II. Junior Emily Tate continues to lead the Harding defense averaging 4.63 digs per set, ranking second in the GSC. Tate also leads the GSC in service aces per set averaging .48 a set.

The Lady Bucs are led by Hanna Orendorff who averages 2.73 kills per set. The Christian Brothers defense is led by Corinne Doder who averages 3.98 digs per set.
