Volleyball Looks for Fifth Straight at Ouachita Baptist

SEARCY – The Harding volleyball team concludes Gulf South Conference play on Thursday, traveling to Arkadelphia, Ark., to face Ouachita Baptist at 7 p.m. Harding looks to improve on 26-6 overall record and 10-1 GSC West Division record.

Harding sealed the GSC West Division title Tuesday after defeating Henderson State 3-1 in Searcy for their fourth straight win.

Harding looks to sweep Ouachita Baptist on the season after a 3-0 win earlier this season in Searcy. The Lady Bisons lead the series, 44-21.

The Lady Bisons are led by senior Manuela Nesheva who averages 4.41 kills per set, ranking her second in the GSC and fifth in NCAA Division II. Junior Emily Tate continues to lead the Lady Bisons defense, averaging 4.73 digs per set. She also leads the conference in service aces per set, averaging 0.51 a set.

Ouachita Baptist (13-20, 1-9 GSCW) is led by Libby Merritt who averages 2.76 digs per set. The Lady Tigers defense is led by Raichel Settle who averages 4.28 digs per set.
