Volleyball Hosts Arkansas-Monticello on Tuesday

SEARCY – The Harding volleyball team hosts Arkansas-Monticello on Tuesday in Gulf South Conference action at 7 p.m., in the Rhodes Field House. Harding heads into the match with a 7-8 overall record and a 2-1 GSC West Division record.

The Lady Bisons are 10-0 all-time against the Cotton Blossoms. Harding has swept UAM seven out of the 10 meetings.

Harding is led by a power-hitting duo comprised of freshman outside hitter Mollie Arnold who averages 3.90 kills per set, ranking her third in the GSC and sophomore outside hitter Reagan Smith who averages 3.06 kills per set, ranking her seventh in the GSC.

The Harding defense is led by senior Emily Tate who averages 4.58 digs per set for the Lady Bisons. At the net, Harding is led by junior middle blocker Alex Smith who has 31 blocks on the season.

Arkansas-Monticello (1-15, 0-3 GSC West Division) is led by Dayna Moyer who averages 2.78 kills per set. Stephanie Hatten leads the Cotton Blossoms defense averaging 4.79 digs per set.
