Volleyball Travels to Henderson State on Tuesday

SEARCY – The Harding volleyball team travels to Arkadelphia, Ark., on Tuesday to face Henderson State in Gulf South Conference action at 7 p.m. The Lady Bisons head into the match with a 15-10 overall record and a 8-2 GSC West Division record.

Harding has already wrapped up a trip to the conference tournament on Nov. 12-13 but the Lady Bisons are still fighting for what seed they will be in the tournament. Currently Harding is in second place in the Division.

Harding is led by freshman outside hitter Mollie Arnold who averages 3.98 kills per set, ranking her second in the GSC and 24th in Division II. The Lady Bisons defense is led by senior defensive specialist Emily Tate who averages 5.18 digs per set, ranking her third in the GSC and 27th in Division II.

Henderson State (14-11, 5-5 GSC West Division) is led by Robin Law who averages 4.66 kills per set, ranking her first in the GSC. The Lady Reddies have two players that average over four digs per set, leading the way is Ashley Totten who averages 5.91 digs per set. Law isn't far behind her averaging 4.11 digs per set.

When the two teams met earlier this season in Searcy, Harding walked away with a 3-1 victory. The Lady Bisons lead the series 38-22.
