COMMERCE, Texas - The Harding women's soccer team fell to Texas A&M-Commerce 2-0 Friday night in non-conference action. The Lady Bisons fall to 1-3-1 on the season.

The Lions (3-1) didn't take long getting on the board when Chelsea Haight broke away from the Harding defense and found the top right corner of the net six minutes into the match. It was Haight's first goal of the season.

Less than a minute later, Devon Herrman headed in a bouncing flick pass from Megan Monroe for her first goal of the season.

The Lady Bisons had 83 minutes to complete a comeback but the Lions defense captured the shutout. Harding took seven shots, two on goal in the match. The Lions took 16 shots, seven were on goal.

Senior goalkeeper Chelsea Hornbeck had five saves for Harding.

The Lady Bisons head back home for their first home match in four games, as they take on Faulkner at 1 p.m., at the Harding soccer field.
