Lady Bison Soccer Falls at East Central 2-0

ADA, Okla. – The Harding women's soccer team fell to East Central on Friday in Great American Conference action 2-0. The Lady Bisons fall to 3-9-1 on the season and 0-4 in the GAC.

Harding played solid defense until the 87th minute when Whitney Watts hit Samantha Rice on a cross to give the Lady Tigers a 1-0 advantage.

Less than two minutes later, Watts picked up her second assist in the game when she sent a through ball to Ashley Bradford to seal the victory for East Central.

The Lady Tigers held the Lady Bisons to five shots, two on goal.

Freshman goalkeeper Danielle Nonaka had a career-high 12 saves in the game. Her saves tied for the second most by a Harding goalkeeper.

Harding continues their trip around Oklahoma as the travel to Weatherford to take on Southwestern Oklahoma State at 1 p.m., on Sunday.
