SEARCY – Southwestern Oklahoma State senior forward Courtney Hailey scored three goals, including one on a penalty kick, to lead the Bulldogs to a 6-0 victory over Harding in Great American Conference women's soccer action Sunday at Harding Soccer Field.

Harding (3-5-0, 0-3-0) lost its second GAC game of the weekend, after falling 1-0 to East Central on Friday. Southwestern Oklahoma (4-6-1, 2-0-0) moved into first place in the GAC with its second conference victory of the weekend. The Bulldogs defeated Ouachita Baptist 1-0 on Friday.

Hailey, a native of Arlington, Texas, scored her first goal in the 25th minute on a cross from sophomore Kelsey Visor. Just over three minutes later, Harding's Lauren Scharff received a red card for a tackle in the box, and Hailey converted the penalty kick to give the Bulldogs a 2-0 lead.

With Harding a player down the rest of game, Southwestern Oklahoma ratcheted up the attack. The Lady Bisons held on until halftime, but junior Josie Price scored on a rebound in the 52nd minute and the floodgates opened.

Visor, who also had two assists, scored in the 54th minute, Hailey completed her hat trick in the 65th minute, and sophomore Natalie Corsslin scored on a header off Price's corner kick in the 68th minute.

Harding goalkeeper Danielle Nonaka faced 27 shots, 16 of them on goal. Her 10 saves were a season-high. The Lady Bisons shot eight times, six on goal. Southwestern Oklahoma junior Corey LaMoureaux had six saves and recorded her second shutout of the season.

Harding plays again Tuesday at Northeastern State in Tahlequah, Okla. The Lady Bisons play their next three on the road before returning to Searcy to meet Central Oklahoma on Oct. 11.
