SEARCY – The Harding volleyball team hosts Arkansas-Fort Smith on Tuesday in non-conference action at 7 p.m., at the Rhodes Field House. The Lady Bisons head into the match with a 14-3 overall record.
The match against the Lady Lions will be a south central region contest.
Harding is led by sophomore outside hitter Mollie Arnold who averages 3.86 kills and 3.39 digs per set. Sophomore middle blocker Alyssa Short leads the team in hitting with a .323 hitting percentage.
The Lady Bisons defense is led by sophomore defensive specialist Weslynn Williams who averages 4.00 digs per set.
Arkansas-Fort Smith is a NCAA Division II member of the Heartland Conference. The Lady Lions head into the match with a 15-5 overall record after sweeping Arkansas Tech, a Great American Conference member, 3-0 this past Saturday. Arkansas-Fort Smith has won their last four matches.
The Lady Lions are led by Heidi Luks who averages 3.54 kills and 2.34 digs per set. Keely Rivera leads Arkansas-Fort Smith defense with a 4.97 digs per set average.
The Lady Lions lead the series between the two teams 1-0.
