SEARCY – The Harding volleyball team travels to Memphis on Tuesday for their final non-conference match of the season against Christian Brothers at 7 p.m. The Lady Bisons head into the match with a 20-7 overall record.
This season, Harding is 9-4 in non-conference matches.
The Lady Bisons are led by sophomore outside hitter Mollie Arnold who averages 3.88 kills and 3.54 digs per set.
Harding has three players with more than 50 blocks on the season. Sophomore middle blocker Alyssa Short leads with 73 blocks. Sophomore right-side hitter Bailee Graham has 62 and senior middle blocker Alex Smith has 59. The Lady Bisons haven't had three players with more than 50 blocks in a season since 2007.
The Harding defense is led by sophomore defensive specialist Weslynn Williams who averages 4.41 digs per set.
Christian Brothers heads into the match with a 23-7 overall record after sweeping their last three opponents 3-0. The Lady Bucs are led by Hannah Kurtz who averages 3.03 kills per set. CBU also has four players that average over two kills per set. The Lady Bucs defense is led by Corinne Doder who averages 4.89 digs per set.
HU leads the series between the two teams 42-13. The Lady Bisons defeated the Lady Bucs 3-0 earlier this season in Searcy.
