Lady Bison Soccer Hosts East Central on Friday

SEARC Y – The Harding women's soccer team continues Great American Conference action on Friday as they host East Central at 7 p.m., at the Harding Soccer Field. The Lady Bisons head into the game with a 3-3 overall record and a 0-1 GAC record.

Harding is led by sophomore forward Adriana Lucar who has seven goals on the season (first in the GAC). She also ranks first in the GAC in shots per game with a 5.8 average. Freshman midfielder Mirlinda Lushi is coming off a career-high three goals against Central Baptist this past Sunday. She also has three assists on the season.

East Central heads into their first GAC contest with a 5-3 overall record. The Lady Tigers are led by Kourtney Holleman who has three goals.

East Central leads the GAC in six of the 14 stat categories – shots (14.88), points (4.25), goals (1.62), goals per game (1.62), assists (1.00) and fouls (9.62).

The Lady Bisons are looking for their first win over the Lady Tigers. East Central leads the series 3-0. It has been 10 years since the last meeting between the two schools. The Lady Tigers defeated Harding 4-1 in Searcy.
