SEARCY, Ark. – East Central's Ashley Bradford scored just under four minutes into overtime to give the Lady Tigers a 1-0 victory over Harding on Friday in Great American Conference women's soccer action.

The loss snapped Harding's two-game winning streak and left the Lady Bisons 0-2 in GAC play. East Central (6-3, 1-0) won its first-ever GAC game.

Just over three minutes into overtime, Harding sophomore Adriana Lucar eluded East Central goalkeeper Natalie Wilson but her shot that would have been the game-winning goal was blocked by a Lady Tiger defender.

East Central immediately moved the ball down the field, and Laura McNab's shot hit the cross bar. The rebound came directly to Bradford, who scored her third goal of the season to give East Central the victory.

It was Harding's second overtime game this season. The Lady Bisons (3-4, 0-2) defeated Hendrix 3-2 in overtime on Sept. 18.

The two teams both had 14 shots in the game. Harding had nine shots on goal to East Central's seven.

Harding will return to conference play Saturday, as it hosts Southwestern Oklahoma State at 1 p.m. at the Harding Soccer Field.
