SEARCY – The Harding women's soccer team fell to East Central 1-0 in Great American Conference action on Friday. The Lady Bisons fall to 5-5-2 overall and 3-2-1 in the GAC.

With the loss, Harding is tied with Southern Nazarene for second place after SNU defeated Ouachita Baptist 1-0 in Arkadelphia, Ark. Harding will host the Crimson Storm on Sunday at 1 p.m.

East Central (3-9-1, 3-3-0 GAC) got on the board in the 32nd minute off a corner kick. Katie Glutz hit the corner to Jessica Stibbens in the middle of the box. Stibbens headed it to Kourtney Holleman who headed in the game winner. It was Holleman's first goal of the season.

East Central took 17 shots, seven on goal and held HU to only eight shots, six on goal. It was the sixth time this season, Harding has shot under 10 shots in a game. The Lady Bisons either tied or fell in those games.
