SEARCY – Mallary Schaub scored a hat trick as she led Southern Nazarene over the Harding women's soccer team 3-0 on Sunday in Great American Conference action. The Lady Bisons fall to 5-6-2 overall and 3-3-1 in the GAC.

After the loss, Harding falls to third place in the GAC standings. The two teams were tied for second place before the game.

Schaub scored her first goal in the 10th minute off a cross by Sherri Collins.

Southern Nazarene took a 2-0 lead into halftime after Stewart found Schaub on a cross from the middle to the right side in the 30th minute.

Schaub earned her hat trick in the 47th minute when Collins kicked a throughball up the middle.

Schaub only had one goal on the season before Sunday and it was her second career hat trick.

Southern Nazarene held Harding to seven shots, three on goal.

Harding will be back in action Tuesday as they host Hendrix in non-conference action on Senior Night at 7 p.m.
