ALVA, Okla. – The Harding women's soccer team ended the regular season with a 1-0 win over Northwestern Oklahoma State in Great American Conference action Sunday. The Lady Bisons improved to 7-8-2 overall and 4-5-1 in the GAC.

Harding will be the fourth seed in the GAC Tournament that will take place Nov. 2-4. The Lady Bisons will take on the No. 1 seed and host team Southwestern Oklahoma in the first round of the tournament on Friday. The game time hasn't been determined.

Junior forward Jenna Taylor gave Harding the lead in the seventh minute. Freshman midfielder Audrey Adkison found Taylor on a cross from left side to the middle of the box. Taylor chipped her shot over the NWOSU goalkeeper for her team leading sixth goal of the season.

Both teams took 13 shots in the game. Harding took eight shots in first half but gave up 10 shots in the second half.

Sophomore goalkeeper Danielle Nonaka had six saves for the Lady Bisons.
