Volleyball Hosts Drury on Tuesday

SEARCY – The Harding volleyball team hosts Drury on Tuesday in non-conference action at the Rhodes Field House at 7 p.m. The Lady Bisons head into the match with a 2-2 record.

Harding is led by junior outside hitter Mollie Arnold who averages 4.27 kills and 2.40 digs per set. Arnold had three double-double performances this past weekend in the Pittsburg State Classic, including 23 kills and 11 digs against William Jewell.

The Lady Bisons defense is led by junior defensive specialist Lisa Copeland who averages 4.93 digs per set. Junior middle blocker Alyssa Short leads HU at the net averaging 1.07 blocks per set.

Drury is a NCAA Division II member of the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Lady Panthers head into the match with a 4-0 record. DU has two players that average over three kills per set. Alex Smith averages 3.82 kills and Sara Borneman averages 3.35 kills. Brooke Foster leads the Drury defense averaging 3.76 digs per set.

Harding leads the all-time series against Drury with an 8-5 record. The Lady Panthers defeated the Lady Bisons 3-1 last season in Springfield, Mo.
