Harding
- It will be the third straight year Harding has played Henderson State to open Great American Conference play. The Lady Bisons have won their last 14 straight conference openers. HU is 15-1 since joining the NCAA in 1997 in conference openers.
- Harding is coming off a 4-1 week. The Lady Bisons went to Jackson, Tenn., on Tuesday and won 3-1. This past weekend HU participated in the North Alabama Tournament. Harding won its first three matches but fell to Northwood 3-2 to close out the tournament
- The Lady Bisons are led by senior outside hitter Mollie Arnold who averages 4.08 kills per game and 2.92 digs per set.
- The Harding defense is led by senior defensive specialist Lisa Copeland who averages 4.78 digs per set. Junior middle blocker Liv Savage averages 1.14 blocks.
Henderson State
- Henderson State is coming off a 0-2 performance at the Arkansas-Monticello Tournament this past weekend. The Lady Reddies fell to West Alabama and Union by a 3-0 score. HSU's only win this season came against Oklahoma Panhandle State 3-2.
- Henderson State is coached by Rhonda Thigpen who in her 15th season.
