HU Women’s Soccer Travels to Texas Woman’s on Friday

Harding

- Harding is coming off a 2-1 double overtime win over Hendrix on Tuesday. Senior forward Jenna Taylor had the Lady Bisons' first goal and junior midfielder Sierra Hollingsworth scored the game winning goal in the 102 minute. It was her first career game winning goal.

- The Lady Bisons are averaging 9.8 shots per game. Taylor leads HU in goals with two. Sophomore midfielder Audrey Adkison leads Harding in assists with two.

- It will be HU's second straight road game.

- Harding is coached by Dr. Greg Harris, who is in his 13th season as head coach of the Lady Bisons.

Texas Woman's

- Texas Woman's is a member of the NCAA Division II Lone Star Conference and has an enrollment of 15,135 students.

- The Pioneers are 2-3-0 this season and are coming off a 3-1 win over Great American Conference member East Central on Wednesday. Texas Woman's fell to GAC member Ouachita Baptist 2-1 earlier this season.

- The Pioneers are led by Alisa Velasquez who has two goals and one assist. Tori Cook leads the team in assists with four.

- Texas Woman's is coached by Babak Abouzar who is in his first season at TWU.

The Series

- The two teams haven't met since 2007 as Harding won 1-0 in Searcy. The Lady Bisons have had good luck in Denton with a 1-0-1 record. HU defeated TWU 4-1 in 2004 and tied 2-2 in 2006.
