SEARCY – The Harding women's soccer team is set to host Mississippi College on Friday in non-conference action at 5:30 p.m., at the Stevens Soccer Field. The Lady Bisons head into the game with a 0-6-0 record.
Harding
Harding will playing its final game of a three-game home stand on Friday. The Lady Bisons fell to Texas Woman's 4-0 on Sunday and Hendrix 1-0 on Tuesday.
Harding is led by junior midfielders Audrey Adkison and Ashley Sampson with each having a goal and an assist.
The Lady Bisons are averaging 11.7 shots per game. Sophomore midfielder Averie Albright and junior midfielder Adair Schmidt each have 11 shots on the season.
Harding is coached by Dr. Greg Harris who is in his 14th season at the helm.
Mississippi College
Mississippi College, a member of the National Christian College Athletic Association and a provisional member of the NCAA Division II Gulf South Conference, heads into the game with 4-1-0 record.
The Lady Choctaws are coming off a 2-1 win over Delta State on Tuesday. Mississippi College's only loss this season came against NCAA Division I Jackson State (3-2).
The Lady Choctaws are averaging 3.20 goals per game and 17.4 shots per game.
Mississippi College is led by senior midfielder Melanie Benner and junior forward Sayit Mejia Bello who each have four goals. Benner also has a team leading four assists.
The Lady Choctaws are coached by Darryl Longabaugh who is in his 18th season.
