SEARCY – The Harding women's soccer team will open Great American Conference action at Ouachita Baptist on Thursday at 3 p.m., in Arkadelphia, Ark. The Lady Bisons head into the game with a 0-7-0 record.
Harding is 1-2 in GAC openers and in Lady Bison history, which dates back to 1998, they are 5-11.

Harding will play the next two games on the road. The Lady Bisons are 0-2 on the road this season.
Harding is coming off 2-1 loss against Mississippi College last Friday in Searcy. Junior midfielder Audrey Adkison scored the Lady Bisons goal that was assisted by sophomore defender Melita Sutherland.
Harding is led by Adkison who has two goals and one assist on the season. Junior midfielder Ashley Sampson scored Harding's other goal. She also has an assist.
The Lady Bisons are averaging 11.7 shots per game. Junior midfielder Adair Schmidt has 13 shots on the season.
Harding is coached by Dr. Greg Harris who is in his 14th season at the helm.
Ouachita Baptist
Ouachita Baptist heads into the game with a 1-5-1 record. It will also be its first GAC game.
The Tigers have lost their last two games by a combined score of 10-0. Ouachita Baptist fell to Texas Woman's 6-0 and Texas A&M-Commerce 4-0.
The Tigers are led by junior forward Haley Hatcher who has four goals and three assists. Senior forward Abby Emanel and freshman forward Delaney Kooken each have two goals for Ouachita Baptist.
The Tigers are averaging 1.43 goals per game and 10.6 shots per game.
