SEARCY – The Harding volleyball team will open Great American Conference play on Tuesday as they travel to Arkansas-Monticello. First serve is set for 6 p.m. The Lady Bisons head into the match with a 3-1 record.
Harding
Harding looks to continue its GAC winning streak. The Lady Bisons haven't lost a conference regular season match since the end of 2011 season (30-0).
Harding also has road winning streak of 12 matches. The Lady Bisons last road loss came at Arkansas-Fort Smith in 2012.
The Lady Bisons are led by senior outside hitter Marindia Turner who averages 3.00 kills and 3.14 digs.
The Harding defense is led by senior middle blocker Liv Savage who averages 1.21 blocks. She also averages 2.71 kills. Senior outside hitter Erica Heim leads Harding in digs averaging 4.07 per set.
Harding is coached by Meredith Fear who is in her third season.
Arkansas-Monticello
Arkansas-Monticello heads into the match with a 1-3 overall record.
It will also be the Cotton Blossoms first conference match of the season.
Arkansas-Monticello is led by Sydni Schulz who averages 2.13 digs and 3.20 digs.
Last season the Cotton Blossoms finished with a 12-20 overall record and 2-12 GAC record. Arkansas-Monticello finished eighth in the GAC standings.
The Cotton Blossoms are coached by Peter Cruz who is in his third year at the helm.

Harding leads the series between the two teams 19-0. Arkansas-Monticello started its program in 2005.
