SEARCY – The Harding women's soccer team will look for its first Great American Conference Championship on Saturday when it travels Ada, Oklahoma to face East Central at 11 a.m.

- Harding captured its only conference championship in 2004 when it tied with West Florida for the Gulf South Conference Championship.
- The Lady Bisons are coming off a 4-2 loss at Ouachita on Tuesday. It was Harding's first conference loss of the season. It also snapped a 14 game unbeaten streak and a seven game winning streak.
- Harding is in second place in the GAC standings, two points behind Ouachita. The Lady Bisons will need a win on Saturday to secure the regular season championship. The GAC regular season champion will host the conference tournament held Nov. 5-7.
- The Lady Bisons are 4-2-2 in true road games this season. Its two losses came at Missouri Western State and Ouachita.
- Harding has recorded 10 shutouts this season. It ties for the most in a season set by the 2004 team.
- Harding is led by freshman midfielder Bethany Sutherland who scored her 19th goal against Ouachita on Tuesday. The goal tied her for the GAC record set by Ouachita Tiger Haley Hatcher in 2013. Sutherland leads the GAC in goals and ranks tied for third in NCAA Division II. Only one other freshman in NCAA Division II has more goals then her this season.
- Bethany Sutherland broke the Harding school record (40) and the GAC record (41) for the most points in a season with 42 against Ouachita on Tuesday.
- Sophomore forward Carley Stevens is second on the team with six goals and senior midfielder Audrey Adkison has seven assists. Adkison ranks fourth all time at Harding with 21 career assists.
- The Lady Bisons are led between the posts by senior goalkeeper Kaitlyn Miller who has a 12-3-2 record. Miller has a 0.81 goal against average and is averaging 3.6 saves per game. Miller has recorded nine shutouts this season to set a new Harding record previously held by Cheryl Dovichak (2004-05). Dovichak recorded eight shutouts 2004.
- Kaitlyn Miller needs one more win to break the Harding record for the most wins by a goalkeeper in a career. She is tied with Chelsea Hornbeck (2006-08,10) with 26 wins.
- Seniors Larkin Hatcher, Audrey Adkison and Melissa Minnich will tie the Harding record for the most games played in a career. Currently the seniors have played in 72 games. Lynsey Clissold (2004-07) and Katie Rankin (2004-07) have the Lady Bison record with 73 games played.
- When Audrey Adkison starts on Saturday she will break the Harding record for the most games started in a career. She is currently tied with Kendyl Washburn (2004-07) with 72.
