SEARCY – The Harding women's soccer team will take part in the NCAA Division II Central Region Tournament on Friday as they take on No. 18 Augustana (S.D.) at 1 p.m., in Mankato, Minnesota. The winner will face host team Minnesota State Mankato on Sunday at 1 p.m.

HU Team News
- It will be the Lady Bisons second appearance in the NCAA Tournament, the last being in 2004 when Harding fell to Tampa 4-1 when Lady Bisons were the No. 3 seed in the south region.
- Harding earned the automatic bid to the tournament after winning the Great American Conference Tournament when they defeated Southwestern Oklahoma 5-3 last Saturday in Searcy. It was the first automatic qualifier the conference has received since it was established in 2011.
- Harding looks to continue its magical season. The Lady Bisons won its first outright conference regular season title and won its first conference tournament title.
- The Lady Bisons finished this season with a perfect 10-0-0 record at home. It was the first time Harding has gone undefeated at home.  The Lady Bisons were one of five teams in NCAA Division II that had a perfect home record.
- The Lady Bisons are 0-1-0 on a neutral field this season. Harding fell to Emporia State 3-1 to open the season in St. Joseph, Missouri. Since Harding started women's soccer in 1998, the Lady Bisons are 6-13-1 on a neutral field.
- Harding has recorded 11 shutouts this season to break the school record held by the 2004 team when they had 10 shutouts. The Lady Bisons have a 0.88 goals against average and have only allowed its opponent to score multiple goals in only five games this season.
- Harding is led by freshman midfielder Bethany Sutherland who has scored 23 goals on the season. She holds the Harding school record and the GAC record for the most goals in a season. Sutherland also ranks tied for third in NCAA Division II in goals. Only one other freshman in NCAA Division II has more goals then her this season.
- Sophomore forward Carley Stevens is second on the team with seven goals and senior midfielder Audrey Adkison leads the team in assists with nine. Adkison ranks fourth all time at Harding with 23 career assists.
- The Lady Bisons are led between the posts by senior goalkeeper Kaitlyn Miller who has a 15-3-2 record. Miller has a 0.88 goal against average and is averaging 3.6 saves per game. Miller has recorded 10 shutouts this season to set a new Harding record previously held by Cheryl Dovichak (2004-05). Dovichak recorded eight shutouts 2004.
- Kaitlyn Miller captured her 29th career win on Saturday and is the winningest goalkeeper in Harding history.  She broke Chelsea Hornbeck's (2006-08, 10) record who had 26 wins in her career.
- Harding needs one more goal to break the school record for the most goals in a season. It is currently tied with the 2003 team with 57 goals.
- The Lady Bisons have taken 469 shots this season which is 122 more than second place all-time at Harding.
- The Lady Bisons need one more win to break the Harding record for the most wins in a season. The Lady Bisons are tied with the 2004 team with 15 wins.
- Harding has never had a player play in 21 games in a season. On Friday, the Lady Bisons could potentially have 14 players play in their 21st game.
