SEARCY – The Harding women's soccer team will take on Southern Nazarene at 6 p.m., in the first round of the Great American Conference Tournament on Thursday.  The Lady Bisons are the No. 1 seed in the tournament and Southern Nazarene is the No. 4 seed.

HU Team News
- Harding will be making its fifth straight appearance in the GAC Tournament. The Lady Bisons will be looking for its first tournament title.
- It is the first time Harding has been the No. 1 seed in a conference tournament. In the GAC Tournament, the Lady Bisons have been the No. 3 seed twice and the No. 4 seed twice.
- Harding captured the GAC Regular Season Championship last Saturday after they defeated East Central 4-1. Bethany Sutherland had a goal and an assist in the game. Mika Richards, Rachel Bacon and Carley Stevens scored Harding's other goals.
- The Lady Bisons will look to remain perfect at home on Thursday. Harding is 8-0-0 at home this season. It ties the Harding record for the most wins at home. The Lady Bisons have never gone undefeated at home in a season.
- Harding has recorded 10 shutouts this season. It ties for the most in a season set by the 2004 team.
- Harding is led by freshman midfielder Bethany Sutherland who has scored 20 goals on the season. She holds the Harding school record and the GAC record for the most goals in a season. Sutherland also ranks tied for third in NCAA Division II in goals. Only one other freshman in NCAA Division II has more goals then her this season.
- Sophomore forward Carley Stevens is second on the team with seven goals and senior midfielder Audrey Adkison leads the team in assists with eight. Adkison ranks fourth all time at Harding with 22 career assists.
- The Lady Bisons are led between the posts by senior goalkeeper Kaitlyn Miller who has a 13-3-2 record. Miller has a 0.82 goal against average and is averaging 3.6 saves per game. Miller has recorded nine shutouts this season to set a new Harding record previously held by Cheryl Dovichak (2004-05). Dovichak recorded eight shutouts 2004.
- Kaitlyn Miller captured her 27th career win on Tuesday to break the Harding record for the most wins by a goalkeeper in a career.  She broke Chelsea Hornbeck's (2006-08,10) record who had 26 wins in her career.
- Seniors Larkin Hatcher, Audrey Adkison and Melissa Minnich will all break the Harding record for the most games played in a career on Thursday. Currently the seniors are tied with Lynsey Clissold (2004-07) and Katie Rankin (2004-07) who played in 73 games.
- Audrey Adkison started her 73rd game on Saturday which broke a Harding record for the most games started in a career. She broke Kendyl Washburn's (2004-07) record who recorded 72 games started in her career.

- Southern Nazarene has won three of its last four games. The Crimson Storm is coming off a 1-0 loss to Northwestern Oklahoma last Saturday.
- Southern Nazarene is 3-5-0 on the road this season. They have played three of its last four games on the road. The Crimson Storm defeated Oklahoma Baptist 1-0 and Southwestern Oklahoma 2-0 but fell at Northwestern Oklahoma.
- Southern Nazarene is led by freshman midfielder Kelsi Bussert who has six goals on the season.

Last Time
- Harding won both meetings against Southern Nazarene this season. When the two teams met in Searcy on Sept. 26, Harding won 2-0 and when they played in Bethany, Oklahoma on Oct. 17, Harding won 3-0. Bethany Sutherland has scored two goals against the Crimson Storm this season. She also had two assists. Melita Sutherland, Rachel Bacon and Emma Chilton each had a goal against Southern Nazarene. In the two games, Harding averaged 20.0 shots per game and 2.50 goals.
