MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Harding scored 21 runs on Saturday as they defeated Christian Brothers in non-conference action 9-2 in the first game and 12-0 in the second game. Â

Game One Key Innings (Harding 9, Christian Brothers 2)
- In the fifth, Harding scored six runs on five hits and two errors. Freshman outfielder Peyton Mills hit a triple to right field that scored two runs. Brooklynn Moon doubled down the left field line to knock in two more runs. Kimmy Hendricks and Mackenzie Jones both had an RBI in the inning.
- Harding scored two more runs in the sixth.
- Christian Brothers scored a run in the second and a run in the sixth.

- Harding jumped out to a 4-0 lead after the first inning on four hits.
- The Lady Bisons added seven more runs in the second, as Kimmy Hendricks hit her first career grand slam in the inning. Courtney Derrick is the only other play to hit a grand slam in Harding history. She did so on April 12, 2014 against Henderson State.
- Senior pitcher Taylor Friend knocked her first career home run in the third inning to give Harding a 12-0 lead.

- Freshman Ashley Smith picked up her first win and first shutout for Harding. She pitched five innings and gave up two hits
- Courtney Derrick hit lead off for Harding and had three hits.
- Junior catcher Kimmy Hendricks had a career-high five RBI's in the game for the Lady Bisons.
