SEARCY – The Harding women's soccer team gave up an early first half goal and Ouachita held on to defeat the Lady Bisons 1-0 in Great American Conference action at the Stevens Soccer Complex. It was Harding's first home loss since 2014. The Lady Bisons won a program record 13 straight at home before Tuesday.
RECORDS
Harding falls to 7-3-0 on the season and 4-1-0 in the GAC. Ouachita improves to 4-5-1 overall and 4-1-0 in the GAC.
GOALS
Ouachita 1, minute – Tori Stratton sent a throughball up the left side that found Kasey Smith who shot with her left foot and found the upper left corner of the net. It was Smith's first goal of the season.thHarding 0 – 15
TEAM STATS
Harding outshot Ouachita 21-11 as seven of the Lady Bisons' shots were on goal.
INDIVIDUAL STATS
Sophomore Bethany Sutherland took nine shots, two were on goal for the Lady Bisons.
Harding goalkeeper Jessica Woessner played the full 90 minutes between the posts and had six saves.
Erin Webster, Ouachita's goalkeeper, picked up the shutout and had seven saves.
