SEARCY – The Harding volleyball team won its third straight match on Saturday after sweeping Southeastern Oklahoma 3-0 (25-22, 25-16, 25-10) in Great American Conference action.
RECORDS
Harding improves to 13-4 overall and 4-2 in the GAC. Southeastern Oklahoma falls to 8-11 overall and 1-6 in the GAC.
SET ONE HIGHLIGHTS
Harding jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the first set before Southeastern Oklahoma battled back to cut into the Harding lead 13-10. Trailing 21-15, the Savage Storm went on a 5-0 run to pull within two 21-19. The Lady Bisons had kills by Taylor Mounts and Zoe Hardin to get the set win, 25-22.
SET TWO HIGHLIGHTS
Trailing 6-5 in the second set, Harding went on an 8-2 run to lead 13-8. The Lady Bisons finished the set on a 4-0 run to win 25-16.
SET THREE HIGHLIGHTS
Harding took a 15-6 lead in the third set and didn't look back as it won the set 25-10. The Lady Bisons had 14 kills and hit .324 in the set.
TEAM STAT
Harding had 37 kills on 96 attempts with nine attack errors to hit .292.
The Lady Bisons held Southeastern Oklahoma to hitting .103 which was the fifth straight match Harding has held its opponent to hitting under .150.
Harding had 11 blocks which was the seventh time this season the Lady Bisons have had over 10 blocks in a match.
INDIVIDUAL STATS
Harding was led by Emily Clayton who had 13 kills. It was the second straight match Clayton has led the team and had 13 kills.
Zoe Hardin had seven blocks in the match to lead the Harding defense. Taylor Lake had 16 digs for the Lady Bisons.
Abby Jameson and Julia Benford each had 10 kills to lead Southeastern Oklahoma.

Harding will take a break from GAC action as it travels to Arkansas-Fort Smith on Tuesday. First serve is at 6 p.m.
