DENTON, Texas – The Harding volleyball team defeated host team Texas Woman's 3-1 and Texas A&M-Commerce 3-1 on the final day of the Hilton Garden Inn Classic on Saturday.

Harding dropped the first set 25-22 but bounced back to win the next three (25-22, 25-21, 25-17) to defeat the host team Texas Woman's

Harding had 64 kills in the match and went on to hit .249.
The Lady Bisons had a season-high 97 digs with three players in double-figures.
Texas Woman's had 54 kills and had 24 hitting errors to hit .156.
HU-TWC INDIVIDUAL STATS
Sophomore outside hitter Emily Clayton led the Lady Bisons with 15 kills. Junior Taylor Mounts had a 14 kills. Senior middle blocker Sara Smith had 12 kills and hit a team best .571.
Senior setter Abigail Glosup had a season-high 51 assists and almost had a double-double with nine digs.
Sophomore defensive specialist Taylor Lake led the Harding defense with a career-high 31 digs. Sophomore Taylor Eubank added 16 digs.
Sara Oxford led Texas Woman's with 17 kills.
TEXAS A&M-COMMERCE MATCH RECAP
Harding won the first set 25-21 but dropped the second set 25-20. The Lady Bisons won the next two sets, 25-20, 25-23, to capture the win.
HU-TAMCU TEAM STATS
Texas A&M-Commerce had 55 kills to Harding's 51 but the Lady Bisons outhit the Lions .160 to .125.
Each team had 10 blocks. Texas A&M-Commerce had 100 digs to Harding's 84.
HU-TAMCU INDIVIDUAL STATS
Junior Taylor Mounts led the Lady Bisons with 16 kills and hit .275. Emma Reeves and Sara Smith each added 10 kills.
Sophomore Taylor Lake led the defense with 23 digs and Alex Nolan had a season-high 21 digs.
Sophomore Zoe Hardin had a season-high seven blocks to lead the Lady Bisons at the net.
Taryn Driver led Texas A&M-Commerce with 17 kills and hit .417 with only two hitting errors. Sydney Reyes added 10 kills and had five blocks for the Lions.

Harding will participate in the Southwest Baptist tournament next weekend in Bolivar, Missouri. The Lady Bisons will play Illinois-Springfield and Oklahoma Panhandle on Friday and then take on Union and Southwest Baptist on Saturday.
