SEARCY – The Harding volleyball team swept Southern Nazarene 3-0 (25-19, 25-12, 25-16) Saturday in Great American Conference action.
Harding improves to 22-3 overall and 10-1 in the GAC.
Southern Nazarene falls to 11-13 overall and 6-5 in the GAC.
FIRST SET
The first set stayed close until Harding took an 18-13 lead on back-to-back kills. With a 22-19 lead, the Lady Bisons scored the next three points to win 25-19.
SECOND SET
With a 9-7 lead, Harding put the second set out of reach of Southern Nazarene when it went on an 8-0 run. The Lady Bisons won the set 25-12.
THIRD SET
Trailing 11-9 in the third set, Harding went on a 7-0 run to lead 16-11. Southern Nazarene only scored five points the rest of the way as the Lady Bisons won 25-16.
