ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – The Harding volleyball team fell to Henderson State 3-1 (22-25, 25-22, 25-22, 25-19) Thursday in Great American Conference action.
Harding falls to 24-4 overall and 12-2 in the GAC. It snapped an 11-match GAC win streak.
Henderson State improves to 12-15 overall and 5-9 in the GAC.
The Lady Bisons have already sealed their spot in the GAC Tournament November 16-18 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. With two GAC matches remaining, Harding will be fighting for seeding.
FIRST SET
Trailing 17-14 in the first set, Harding went on a 7-1 run to lead 21-18. Henderson State fought back and pulled within one 23-22 but back-to-back kills by the Lady Bisons gave Harding the set, 25-22.
SECOND SET
Henderson State took a 14-10 lead midway through the second set. Harding then battled back and took a 20-18 lead on a 10-3 run. With the set tied at 22, Henderson State had three straight kills to win 25-22.
THIRD SET
Harding jumped out to a 13-6 lead early in the third set. Henderson State fought back and took a 21-20 lead. Two kills and a Harding attack error gave the Reddies a 24-21 advantage but a kill by Courtney Bolf gave Henderson State the 25-22 set win.
FOURTH SET
Harding took a 7-3 lead in the fourth set. Trailing 11-8, Henderson State went on a 4-0 run to lead 12-11. With a 19-18 lead, the Reddies went on a 3-0 run to lead 22-18. After a kill by Harding's Taylor Mounts, Henderson State scored the next three points to win 25-19.

Harding
- Harding was led by Taylor Mounts who had a career-high 20 kills. She also hit .341 and had five blocks. Emma Reeves also had a career-high 19 kills.
- Rachel Heussner had 51 assists for Harding and 16 digs.
- Harding had 90 digs in the match and was led by Taylor Lake who had 23. Selena Foster had 16, Taylor Eubank had 14 and Madison Poen had 13.
- Harding hit .197 in the match and had 27 attack errors, the most in a conference match this season.
Henderson State
- Henderson State was led by Courtney Bolf who had 14 kills and 12 digs. Violet Williams and Zuzana Ondruskova each had 11 kills.
- The Reddies were led on defense by Sarah Boney and Sydney Skelton who each had 23 digs. Boney also had 29 assists.
- Henderson State hit .200 in the match and had 52 kills and 17 attack errors.

Harding will play its final home match of the season Tuesday when it hosts No. 10 Arkansas Tech in GAC action at the Rhodes-Reaves Field House. First serve is at 6 p.m.
