SEARCY – The Harding women's soccer team scored first but gave up two first half goals as it fell to Oklahoma Baptist 3-1 in Great American Conference action Saturday at the Stevens Soccer Complex.
Harding falls to 2-4-2 overall and 1-1-0 in GAC play.
Oklahoma Baptist improves to 6-1-0 overall and 2-0-0 in GAC action.
GOALS
Harding 1, Oklahoma Baptist 0 – 12th minute – Bethany Sutherland stole the ball of a goalkick and found the back of the net from 30-yards out. It was her fifth goal of the season.
Oklahoma Baptist 1, Harding 1- 31st minute – Jennifer Goethe sent a corner kick far post that was kneed in by Kelsey Bumgarner for her first goal of the season.
Oklahoma Baptist 2, Harding 1- 35th minute – Kerregan Edwards sent a free kick to Hannah White who found the lower left corner of the goal. It was her fourth goal of the season.
STATS
Oklahoma Baptist took 24 shots, 10 were on goal.
Harding took five shots, four were on goal.
Hannah White had a game-high six shots, three were on goal.
